If the future of our mobile devices seems to be more flexible, some manufacturers also seem to consider other avenues. Samsung, for example, would work on a phone with screens on its sides.
It is the Bloomberg news agency that revealed this information: the Department of research came up with a flexible OLED screen that wrap the sides of the device.
The notifications would be visible at multiple angles and would allow many innovations in terms of ergonomics.
This kind of technology could well end up on a future Galaxy Note, S, or a new line. Of course, no information was released on a possible release date.
