Spring is in the air. What does that mean for you as a man? It means March Madness where teams are crowned as Cinderella and giants fall. Spring is when the snow finally thaws out and we take our pale selves outside of the house. We all pretend to tell each other that our “distant distant distant” relative was Irish which is why we go so hard on St. Paddy’s day. The trees and grass show their support for St. Patrick’s day by coming out in full bloom. We remember what a thunderstorm smells like as it comes rolling in across the sky. The best part though? Grilling. You can pick from steaks, chicken, shrimp, fish (any kind of seafood), and veggie burgers to but your friends may or may not judge you.

The problem with grilling is that it is a long process. We have to drink at least a few beers during the grilling process and you can’t grill to quick because you won’t be able to savor the process. The issue is that we often run out of daylight and usually end up with charred meat. We usually look like an idiot because we have our tiny LED flashlight out in the middle of the yard as we try to stop from overcooking that game hen we thought would be delicious. We found a Handle-Mount Grill Light that attaches to the handle of any grill that can keep the lights on no matter what time it is. The grill light has LED bulbs that will last for up to 100,000 hours (which equals a ton of Spring time grilling) and fastens down to the handle so you always have it handy. The other two key parts that make this light so awesome is the fact its waterproof and also has a timer so it will shutoff after 6 minutes. If you’re truly an awesome griller, you can use the timing of the light to time when to flip the meat. 

WRITTEN REMINDER ALARM CLOCK

There are a lot of different ways to make yourself reminders. You can go with the classic and collegiate approach of writing notes on your hand but we’re pretty sure the boss will pass you up for that next promotion. You could carry around a day planner but that just screams “uptight” and nobody likes an uptight person. You could cover your desk with sticky notes but they will eventually devour you up. There are a lot of different apps out there that can help with time management but trying to type long notes out on your phone is a pain. We also need to be able to tell what is most important on our to-do list at a glance and these long exhaustive lists will drown out that one “honey do” item your wife asked for you to get done.

Don’t fall into the trap that will leave your wife staring daggers at you. Are you one of the men out there that “got” to help plan a wedding? Are you one of the guys that were dumb enough and had to help plan a second one? There is a part of that wedding process that includes sending out very fancy shmancy invites to the wedding that have ribbon and other bells and whistles in it. They cost way too much and are usually much more feminine because (let’s be honest) we don’t really care about the invitations. What is strange though is that those expensive invites usually go into a cheap envelope that doesn’t do the rest of it justice. You can send in a photo of yourself or you and another person and these guys will turn that picture into a drawing. But it doesn’t stop there (because we can get that done at any white trash state fair or amusement park). They take that drawing and actually turn it into a stamp. You now have the ability to place stamps of your face anywhere you want which can include business documents and envelopes. Can you imagine how much more your guests would have appreciated those wedding invitations if there was an awkward stamp of your face on it? If companies everywhere decided to switch from that stupid “approved” stamp that goes on all accounting docs and used a portrait stamp, it would make things so much better. The stamps would be hilarious and would offer immediate accountability because you could look at the stamp and immediately see which jerk executive approved the expense. Summer is coming. What are the good things we have to look forward to? Warm weather and zero snow which sounds amazing at this point (we are headquartered in Kansas City). We all remember the great days of college. Arranging your schedule to allow you to sleep in on Fridays because we all knew that the weekend started on Thursday. You realize you can survive on Ramen Noodles and Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches. The toughest times came twice a year during finals but the greatest parties right after made up for it. Girls didn’t judge you if you didn’t have a job because that was actually kind of normal. The one thing we don’t miss about college was the mile long walks across campus to get to each class and lugging a 50 pound backpack. Most of the backpacks offered only took into account your books but didn’t care about your fragile electronics. You would end up with broken electronics because of these glorified nap sacks. Quirky is looking to do something about it.
