It takes something invisible to make guys look more interesting… but it works.
So I’m going to start by saying I found this designer solely on the product we are highlighting (The Invisible Bookend) but found that I love every one of his other creations as well. They are extremely simple in functionality yet so detailed in the design. Check out some of his other works if you get a chance.
Back to the product being highlighted which is called The Invisible Bookend. To be honest with you, I was hoping to see a picture of how this actually works (the pieces that hold the books up) but they are literally invisible in the pictures. Imagine having your downtown loft bachelor pad but you don’t want it to scream frat house (avoid bean bag chairs). You can get the invisible book stand and create a very simple and elegant design to the place while also creating a focal and talking point. People will be immediately drawn to this and you can put up all of those books you pretended to read (yes, I totally understood what Hemingway was saying) while adding to your modern décor.
There are definitely some imitators out there and you can find them right and left on Amazon but I like the approach (Paul Cocksedge) takes with all of his designs including this one. It looks like you can buy this on his website, although larger items seem to be limited to the UK. If you get one of these, please let us know how it looked and feel free to send us some pictures!
