Beats By Dre… It is your time to officially take the backseat. Don’t get us wrong, their headphones are great but they have been skating by on Dre’s name for quite some time. All of these different electronic companies have been getting into a terrible habit which is to pick a rapper or famous rock band and have them sponsor some “premium” headphones. Did you know that Snooki has her own headphones? Why would anybody in their right mind have that be the tipping point for shelling out a lot of money for headphones? We can understand tanning lotion but have no idea where headphones came into play.
So back to our original statement: we got lucky enough to try out a new pair of headphones from a company many already know (and the rest will hear about shortly) called Creative. They have a strong product focus on anything music which should tell you they actually know what they’re doing. They don’t try to go out and have some celebrity that has nothing to do with music come out and tell you their headphones are awesome because they speak for themselves. Gadgets 4 Guys was able to try out a member of the Evo headsets called the Creative Sound Blaster EVO Zx. Below is our full review broken out into different key evaluation sets.
